My background is in Interaction Design, Psychology and Sociology and throughout my experience I became passionate about UX Research.
As a very meticulous person, if I see something that doesn’t work well I have a drive to fix it, I don’t feel discouraged in the face of the unknown.
I have to be a bit of a magician to be a UX designer. Basically I need to read people’s minds, not easy right? But I have a black cat named Salem on my side so 99% of the time I can guess people’s wishes!
MINIMALIST GREEN SOUL
My way of life. I’m currently reducing my environmental impact through personal waste reduction and inspiring others. I’m convinced that step by step everything ambitious is possible. It’s contagious!
The only way to learn cooking is… cooking! It seems simple, but I picked up something very important in the kitchen that I applied to my life style. Through patience and practice I learnt how to fail better and never give up!
Being someone different for one day helps me to get out of my comfort zone. I train my brain to see the world from a different perspective and stand out from the crowd.
PHILOSOPHER & THINKER
I never stop at the first “why”, I’m driven to see how deep I can go and how much I can uncover.
I’ve always liked the idea of communicating my emotions visually. Studying composition rules in photography I realised I have the “photographer’s eye” and this helps me in my design process.
Music is one of the few universal languages. Playing piano means putting together the two halves of my brain, coordinating my left hand (logic engineer) with my right hand (graphic designer). This means I need to be both to succeed.
WHY DO I LOVE UX?
The thing that amazes me most has been discovering that UX puts all these together and I can even get paid for it!
I’ll reach my true happiness when I’ll be teaching and mentoring my colleagues, passing my passion and all my knowledge over, while continuing to learn and raise the bar of my aspirations.
